The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLC300 X254 with Premium Sound System includes several speaker upgrades, but still features only one subwoofer installed under the passenger-side floor. The driver’s side subwoofer cavity remains unused, limiting low-frequency output and impact.
Stuart, one of our customers who connected with us via Facebook, reached out to explore bass upgrade options for his GLC. He mentioned he wasn't sure if there was any usable space under the front seats — possibly only under the boot floor or rear seats.

We installed the Focal iSub MBZ 2 RHD V2 into the original subwoofer enclosure under the passenger side footwell. No cutting, no visible hardware, and no loss of interior storage.
We tested impedance and wiring compatibility, sealed the acoustic cavity for maximum output, and performed fine tuning through digital EQ.
The driver’s side remained sealed per Mercedes design — the single subwoofer setup was now vastly more effective thanks to Focal’s precise engineering.
