Refund policy
1. Returns Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving or installing your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return:

The item must be in the same condition as when received/installed, unused, with original packaging, and proof of purchase.

For installed products, the vehicle must be delivered to MC AUDIO’s authorised workshop in Rockdale, NSW for inspection, de-installation, and OEM restoration.

Returns or removals carried out by third-party workshops or unauthorised service agents will not be accepted under any circumstances.
To start a return, please contact us at sales@mechatronicar.com.au. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.
2. Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and notify us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. We will evaluate the issue and provide the appropriate remedy.
3. Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item to MC AUDIO following the above process. Once the return has been accepted and inspected, you may purchase the replacement product separately.
4. Refunds
Refunds will only be processed once:

The item/vehicle has been inspected at MC AUDIO’s Rockdale workshop.

The product has been de-installed and the vehicle restored to OEM condition by MC AUDIO technicians.

The returned product is in acceptable condition.
Once approved, refunds will be processed automatically to your original payment method. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
Refunds do not include shipping or postage costs unless the return request was submitted and accepted before the product was shipped.
Important: For vehicle-installed products, MC AUDIO does not provide refunds for items removed by third parties. Customers are responsible for delivering the vehicle to MC AUDIO’s authorised workshop.
5. Special Conditions – BASSER Products
Refunds will not be issued for any BASSER subwoofer enclosures due to misfitting or other reasons, except warranty claims. Customers are responsible for thoroughly inspecting their vehicle’s subwoofer locations prior to purchasing.
Lead times for BASSER products are subject to manufacturer production schedules and will not be considered a valid reason for cancellation or refund.
6. Warranty Disclaimer
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This MC AUDIO Limited Warranty is in addition to ACL rights and should not be interpreted as excluding, restricting, or modifying any Federal or State legislation.
Warranty Coverage

Applies to physical goods purchased from or installed by MC AUDIO.

Covers defects in materials or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period.

Warranty Period: 12 months from the date of purchase or installation.

Replacement parts: 12 months from the date of replacement or repair.

Coverage applies only to the original purchaser (non-transferable).
MC AUDIO Responsibilities
During the warranty period, MC AUDIO will repair or replace, at no cost, products or parts proven defective under normal use and maintenance. Repairs or replacements may be carried out with new or reconditioned parts.
How to Obtain Warranty Service

Contact MC AUDIO customer service at sales@mechatronicar.com.au.

Provide a detailed description of the issue and a list of components installed in the vehicle.

If not installed by MC AUDIO, you must provide proof of purchase and proof of installation by a recognised/licensed car audio installer.

Customers are responsible for delivering the product/vehicle to MC AUDIO’s Rockdale workshop for warranty inspection and service.
What is Not Covered
This Limited Warranty does not cover:

Damage occurring during shipment (carrier responsibility).

Damage from accident, abuse, negligence, misuse, water exposure, or failure to follow installation instructions.

Damage caused by fire, flood, storms, earthquakes, or other natural events.
-
Service performed by unauthorised persons, companies, or workshops.
-
Products with removed, defaced, or missing serial numbers.

Products adjusted, altered, or modified outside MC AUDIO.

Products with excessive dust, dirt, or abnormal environmental exposure.

Refunds for misfitting of BASSER subwoofer enclosures (customer responsibility to confirm compatibility).
7. Key Clause for Installed Products
👉 All inspections, de-installations, and OEM restorations must be performed at MC AUDIO’s Rockdale workshop. Customers are responsible for delivering the vehicle to this location. Refunds or warranty claims will not be honoured if a product is removed, tampered with, or de-installed by unauthorised third parties.
