Phillip’s Mercedes-Benz GLC43 AMG arrived all the way from Tasmania after multiple workshops failed to resolve a critical issue:

Phillip’s vehicle already had a heavily modified system installed:
Current System Configuration:
- Audison APF8.9BIT DSP Amplifier with DRC controller
- Audison APF1D Mono Amplifier
- Mobridge DA-G2 MOST150 Mercedes Interface
- Focal Inside iSUB MBZ Underseat Subwoofers
- Morel Reference IR-MBZ42 Front Speakers
- JL Audio 10W6V3-D4 Subwoofer in custom enclosure
- Aftermarket Android widescreen display
- OEM Mercedes Command NTG 5 system
Despite high-end components, the system had no audio output at all.
🔍 Diagnosis Process – Finding the Root Cause
This wasn’t a simple fix.
Our team began with a full system inspection:
- Signal path analysis from OEM to DSP
- MOST150 fibre optic communication check
- Amplifier signal verification
- Power and grounding inspection
👉 The issue was deeper than expected:
A failure in the signal chain combined with incorrect integration was preventing any usable audio signal.
🛠️ The Solution: Full System Re-Engineering
Once we restored the signal, we took the opportunity to elevate the system to a completely new level.

- 2x HELIX BT HD Streamer (24-bit audio streaming)
- HELIX Handsfree Microphone Kit

- Custom-built wiring harness
- Custom amplifier mounting plate
We retained key high-end components like:
- JL Audio subwoofer
- Morel speakers
- Focal underseat woofers
Because when the right gear is already there… we optimise it, not replace it.
