🚗 A Discreet Security Upgrade for an Aston Martin Vanquish
When Elliot brought us his stunning 2016 Aston Martin Vanquish, he wanted more than just performance — he wanted peace of mind. His request was clear: a 4K dashcam system with onboard storage and real-time GPS tracking, without compromising the factory elegance of his grand tourer.
🔧 Installation Challenges & Factory Integration
The Vanquish came with a retro CD stacker in the boot, which raised the idea of reusing the space. While the fibre-optic system didn’t allow direct integration, we instead mounted the BlackVue DR970X front and rear cameras discreetly, with all wiring hidden behind factory trims.
The LTE module was seamlessly added, enabling remote cloud access via the BlackVue app. With a SIM card installed, Elliot can now check live GPS location, receive notifications, and review footage from anywhere in the world.
