Recently, a client reached out about upgrading his 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class W205 with NTG 5.2 (Audio20 or COMAND) to support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Here’s how we handled it.
🔍 Vehicle Compatibility: W205 + NTG 5.2 (2015–2018)
The Mercedes-Benz W205 platform came with Audio20 or COMAND head units using the NTG 5.2 interface. Unfortunately, these models didn’t come with CarPlay or Android Auto as standard in Australia.
