Everything was installed Plug & Play, without cutting or splicing a single wire. This ensures factory warranty integrity and preserves every OEM function.
🧠 DSP Installation & System Calibration
The heart of this setup is the MATCH UP 10DSP amplifier, a unit that completely transforms the vehicle’s acoustic environment.
We began by tapping the original subwoofer outputs through a custom Mercedes-specific harness, capturing the pre-amplified signals directly from the factory amplifier. This process allows us to extract clean audio data without distortion or artificial equalisation from the OEM system.
Once the DSP was connected, we re-routed each channel:
- Front tweeters, midranges, and woofers individually controlled
- Rear speakers assigned balanced time delays
- Underseat subwoofers independently powered and phased
This allows complete flexibility to rebuild the soundstage digitally, as if reprogramming how the car itself produces sound.
🎚️ Precision Tuning – The MC Audio Way
After wiring and system checks, we moved to the DSP tuning stage, the true art of what we do.
Using the HELIX DSP PC-Tool software, we performed:

Time alignment: We digitally measured the distance between every speaker and the driver’s position to synchronise sound arrival times. This ensures vocals are perfectly centred, as if the artist is performing right in front of you.

Equalisation: Each speaker was tuned with 30-band parametric EQ to balance frequencies, eliminate peaks, and enhance depth without colouring the natural tone.

Crossover tuning: Custom slopes were configured for seamless transitions between tweeters, midrange, and subwoofers.

Phase correction: Each driver’s polarity was verified and aligned for tight bass response and dynamic accuracy.

Soundstage elevation: Adjustments to gain and phase created a virtual front stage that lifts the music to dashboard height — one of the most noticeable differences compared to stock systems.
This is where the magic happens. The combination of precision tuning and component synergy delivers sound with emotional impact, three-dimensional depth, and crystal clarity.

Once we finalised the tuning, we invited Jeylong and his partner back for the first listen. The moment they sat inside and the first song played, the difference was staggering.
