Our client wanted more than just a bass boost—they wanted clarity, warmth, punch, and a premium listening experience. So we designed a complete system that would match the passion behind this machine.

- Full interior soundproofing (doors, floor, boot, roof, firewall, rear quarters)
- Premium front and rear speaker upgrade
- Helix M FOUR DSP amplifier for tuning and control
- Monoblock amplifier powering a high-performance subwoofer
- Custom subwoofer enclosure
- Thinkware U1000 2CH dashcam (front + rear)
- 6 full days of meticulous installation, calibration, and tuning
🎨 A Story of Precision, Patience and Passion
When the owner first brought us the GR86, he was disappointed.
"I love the way it drives, but the sound system just kills it," he told us.
That’s something we hear often—and it's exactly the type of challenge we love.
🌟 The MC Audio Way
We began by stripping the interior down to bare metal—removing the seats, carpet, trims, roof lining, and boot panels. Using STP Black Gold and aerogel-based liners, we treated every surface:
- Inner and outer door skins
- Floor and transmission tunnel
- Roof cavity
- Boot, quarter panels and wheel arches
- Firewall behind the dash
The transformation in cabin quietness was already noticeable before we even powered the system.
Then came the wiring. All cables—power, signal, speaker, remote—were routed through factory pathways and grommets, shielded, and secured. No shortcuts, no visible wires, no risk of failure.
The boot area was soundproofed and reinforced before the subwoofer enclosure was mounted. While waiting for the remaining amplifier and speakers to arrive, we prepped everything to ensure a clean final assembly.
🎵 Tuning the DSP: Where the System Comes Alive
Once the Helix M FOUR DSP and monoblock amplifier were installed, the magic began.
Using professional tuning tools and expert ears, we dialled in:
- A 30-band EQ per channel
- Time alignment to the driver seat
- Phase correction between front stage and subwoofer
- Smooth crossover filtering to balance every frequency
This is where good systems become exceptional. And the result was… breathtaking.
