ŠKODA 6.5" Speaker Upgrade Type 1 - HELIX Ci3 Coaxial to Suit Various Škoda Models | 3Ω

Overview
The ŠKODA 6.5" Speaker Upgrade Type 1 - HELIX Ci3 Coaxial to Suit Various Škoda Models | 3Ω is a car-specific HELIX Ci3 coaxial speaker upgrade supplied with vehicle-specific mounting hardware for compatible Škoda applications. The exact Product Parameters identify a Coaxial | 2 Way speaker with 1 × 3Ω voice-coil configuration and Car Specific: Škoda.

The package is designed to replace the compatible factory speaker using the supplied vehicle-specific adapter. SoundTech states that this allows installation in the factory location without cutting or modifying the vehicle, while remaining fully reversible to the original factory setup.

Important source note: the live product title identifies this as a 6.5" speaker upgrade, but the Product Parameters currently state Size: 100mm | 4". This inconsistency is retained exactly rather than being silently corrected.

Please Read Before Purchasing
The exact page contains a size discrepancy that should be checked before ordering:

• Product title: 6.5"
• Product Parameter – Size: 100mm | 4"

The page also describes the included premium speaker using “door 6.5" woofer pair” as an example, while its Product Parameters classify the product as Coaxial | 2 Way. Because these details conflict, the exact physical speaker size and application should be confirmed before purchase rather than inferred.

SoundTech also notes that some vehicles may have a different configuration and recommends a pre-check. Its Plug & Play packages are primarily intended for professional/dealer installation, with minor modifications potentially required depending on the vehicle’s exact year and trim.

Who This Package Is For
This package is intended for compatible Škoda vehicles using the Type 1 speaker configuration where a HELIX Ci3 coaxial speaker and vehicle-specific mounting adapter are suitable.

Although the title states “Various Škoda Models”, the exact page does not provide an itemised list of supported Škoda models or model years. Compatibility should therefore be confirmed for the individual vehicle before purchase.

Installation & Tuning Notes
The exact published Upgrade Method is:

Factory speaker removed, new speaker installed using the vehicle-specific adapter.

The source states that the supplied adapter allows installation in the compatible factory location without cutting or modifying the vehicle, and that the upgrade is fully reversible.

No DSP amplifier is included with this package.
