The Eway Tech EW-BMEH-V621 is a vehicle-specific digital audio interface designed for compatible BMW vehicles manufactured between 2020 and 2025 equipped with an Ethernet-based audio architecture and Receiver Audio Module (RAM). It converts the factory digital audio signal into an optical S/PDIF (TOSLINK) output, enabling integration with aftermarket digital signal processors and premium automotive audio systems while retaining the original BMW infotainment source.
Developed for advanced OEM audio integration, the EW-BMEH-V621 provides a digital connection between the compatible BMW factory audio system and an aftermarket DSP featuring an optical S/PDIF input. This allows installers to develop upgraded sound systems using dedicated amplification, active speaker configurations, crossover management, time alignment and equalisation. By accessing the supported factory digital audio signal, the interface offers an alternative to conventional speaker-level signal integration for high-performance BMW audio upgrades.
