The MATCH UP 8BMW MK2 is a vehicle-specific 8-channel Plug & Play DSP amplifier developed exclusively for BMW models equipped with the factory S0676 HiFi sound system (E and F Generation platforms). Designed as a direct OEM replacement for the factory amplifier, it delivers a dramatic improvement in sound quality, power, clarity, and system control while retaining all factory vehicle functions and wiring.

M-Power” for your BMW HiFi sound system

The MATCH UP 8BMW MK2 is the Plug & Play “M package” for BMW HiFi systems. It combines a powerful 8-channel Class GD amplifier with an integrated 9-channel DSP, delivering power and dynamics for an impressive hi-fi upgrade while maintaining clean, OEM-friendly integration in the vehicle. Designed for BMW E and F models as well as G30 / G31 (pre-facelift) with the HiFi sound system (option 676), it installs at the factory location using the included Plug & Play connection cable and a BMW-specific mounting solution.

In the MK2 generation, the concept has been further refined and adds key updates with a USB-C port and the Extension Card 2.0 slot for contemporary, expandable system integration. As the centerpiece of a scalable BMW upgrade concept, the UP 8BMW MK2 can be ideally combined with additional MATCH BMW components and HELIX COMPOSE speakers.

Seamless integration and strong performance in a compact format

For optimal integration into existing factory systems, the UP 8BMW MK2 provides six highlevel inputs to tap the OEM speaker signals (including ADEP.3 for reliable interfacing with many factory head units), plus an optical digital input for integrating digital sources.

On the output side, it offers eight amplifier channels: 6 x 65 Watts RMS @ 4 Ω as well as two powerful subwoofer outputs with up to 2 x 90 / 160 Watts RMS @ 4 / 2 Ω maximum output power, combined with 9 processed DSP channels for precise signal processing and flexible sound tuning.

This combines performance and connectivity in a compact, space-saving design and adds further expandability in the MK2 generation: the new Extension Card 2.0 slot is included, a revised expansion system with a screw-secured plastic cover and cross-series compatibility. This allows modular expansion of the system integration when required, for example with Bluetooth® HD or additional analog or digital inputs. The USB-C port also enables modern access via DSP PC-Tool.

ACO – Advanced 32 Bit CoProcessor platform

Of course, the UP 8BMW MK2 is equipped with our proprietary 32 Bit ACO platform, which doesn’t just take over all control tasks ultra-fast, but also handles a bunch of audio functions: fantastic sound effects such as Augmented Bass Processing or RealCenter are implemented as well as a channel-separated Input EQ including Advanced Input Signal Analyzer (AISA) for easy analysis and compensation of input signals of OE radios, which already include a sound setup by default.

DSP PC-Tool 6 feat. TuneEQ – Powerful features for the ultimate sound experience

Of course, the MATCH UP 8BMW MK2 can be easily configured via our professional and exceptionally intuitive DSP PC-Tool 6. The familiar, numerous setting options leave nothing to be desired and guarantee an extremely precise sound adjustment even for complex system configurations. And thanks to the new, proprietary TuneEQ 2.0 as well as TuneToTarget functions for automated frequency response correction, you also save a lot of time when optimizing your sound.

Virtual Channel Processing – this is how signal routing works today

The optimal adaptation to existing multi-channel sound systems requires sensible management and configuration of the many DSP channels. Especially when front, rear and center systems are split into multi-way systems, conventional routing concepts quickly reach their limits, both in terms of implementation and usability. The multi-stage "Virtual Channel Processing", in conjunction with the recognized user-friendly DSP PC-Tool software makes it easy to map even highly complex system configurations and to freely assign our proprietary FX sound features.

Special features

Class GD technology

Audiotec Fischer´s proprietary Class GD concept takes the efficiency of conventional Class D amps to the next level. By varying the internal supply voltage in several steps depending on the amplifier’s input signals, idle losses are significantly reduced and overall efficiency is close to maximum at any time. So heat dissipation is almost negligible, thus allowing smallest heat sinks and most compact form factors.

ACO – Advanced 32 Bit CoProcessor

The ACO platform (Advanced CoProcessor) handles all control and communication tasks within the DSP system. It ensures extremely fast system startups, lightning-fast switching between up to ten sound setups, and provides the decisive speed boost, especially in data communication with our DSP PC-Tool software. 
ACO also serves as the foundation for a wide range of additional features – including SFX Sound Effects like “Augmented Bass Processing” and “RealCenter”, functions such as Dynamic Loudness Control (DLC) and Remote Tone Control (RTC), and a channel-separated input EQ with integrated Advanced Input Signal Analyzer (AISA) for easy analysis and correction of input signals with factory-applied equalization. ACO stands for maximum performance, flexibility, and future-proof system architecture. 

Smart highlevel input ADEP.3

Modern, factory-installed car radios incorporate sophisticated methods for diagnosing connected speakers. In particular, the latest generation of car radios is equipped with advanced monitoring functions, which can often lead to error messages or the loss of specific features (e.g., fader function) when a standard amplifier is connected.
The ADEP.3 circuit (Generation 3) meets the demands of these advanced OEM systems and ensures seamless integration. Controlled by the ACO platform, the system is future-proof and designed to flexibly adapt to changes in vehicle radio diagnostics.
This guarantees maximum compatibility with nearly all OE head units – without unnecessarily loading the speaker outputs at high volume levels.

Power Save Mode

The Power Save Mode allows to significantly reduce the power consumption of the amplifier (and any additional connected amplifiers) when no music signal is detected for a certain period of time.
When power save mode is active, the internal amplifier stages and the remote output are automatically switched off. Once a music signal is detected again, the device returns to normal operation within approximately 2 seconds. The switch-off delay can be adjusted or completely deactivated via the DSP PC-Tool software.

Start-Stop capability

The switched power supply ensures a constant internal supply voltage even during short voltage drops down to 6 Volts (e.g. during engine start), so the functionality of the device remains stable and unaffected.
