This KENWOOD multimedia receiver features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for safe and smart control of your smartphone while driving. Apple CarPlay allows for hands-free use of your iPhone with Siri or the receiver's touch screen for directions, calls, texts, music, and more. Android Auto offers voice control and a large touch screen for music streaming and navigation. The receiver supports wireless connections for both systems (with compatible phone). The receiver also supports Wireless Mirroring for selected Android devices and HDMI input for displaying other devices. It has 2-Phone Hands Free Calling, allows for streaming music from popular apps, and supports high-resolution audio wirelessly. The receiver has 13-Band Graphic EQ and Time Alignment for optimal sound performance, and is equipped with high-quality audio parts. It can play back various video and audio files from USB devices. The receiver is compatible with the iDatalink Maestro RR and RR2 (sold separately) for enhanced vehicle integration and supports Around View Monitoring with the optional KCA-2020AVM.

The Automotive Data Solutions iDatalink Maestro RR and RR2 (sold separately) offer enhanced vehicle integration for this model. When connected to the RR2, this model offers expanded support such as an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Widget, Customizable Accessory Controls, and compatibility with specific ESCORT radar detectors (sold separately), in addition to the seamless factory integration experience provided by the RR. Note that the available features may vary depending on the vehicle.
